AI-native finance for American manufacturing

Capital for the companies that build America

Ferrous funds the factories, equipment and plant upgrades that today's capital markets weren't built to finance

The problem

Data centers, the power grid, robotics and reshored factories are expected to need well over $8 trillion of capital investment by 2030, and a huge share of it has to be built by independent manufacturers. Every data center, robot and reshored supply chain runs through independent machine shops, fabricators and component makers. Demand on them is rising fast, and growing means buying machines, adding shifts and carrying more inventory long before the customer pays.

There's no good way to finance that growth today. The capital exists, but none of the vehicles that hold it were built for a family-owned machine shop that just won a contract twice its size.

Many of these are excellent businesses, with customer relationships that go back decades, hard assets on the floor and order books that are already contracted. What they lack is financial data a lender can read. Their real performance lives in ERPs, purchase orders and machine schedules, not in audited statements. Turn that into a clear, live view of the business and they become some of the best credits in the economy.

$8T+
capex needed by 2030 for data centers and the power grid
$1.2T
of US manufacturing output from companies under 500 employees*
$1.3T
of equipment financed every year in the US
235K
small manufacturers, 98% of all US manufacturing firms
Sources: McKinsey (2025); EEI (2025); NAM, citing BEA and Census SUSB 2022; Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation Horizon Report (2023 data). *Estimate: small firms' ~41% share of manufacturing employment applied to $2.9T of manufacturing output.

Product vision

Phase01

An AI finance team for SMB manufacturers

Agents plug into a plant's ERP, bank accounts and order book and run the finance function: forecasting cash, chasing receivables, planning purchases and flagging a crunch weeks before it hits. Owners get a CFO-level view of their business, and we get a live picture of how it actually performs.

Phase02

The financial piping to long-duration capital

We connect manufacturers' growth capital needs to insurers, pensions, family offices and private credit funds that want long-duration exposure to real, productive assets. Live data from the platform lets us originate, structure and syndicate these credits at scale, and every deal improves how we price the next one.

Phase03

The financial backbone of the real economy

The same platform, agents, data and capital network, extended to every sector that needs heavy equipment and long-lived assets to grow, like agriculture, life sciences and aerospace & defense.

The system improves itself. More manufacturers on the platform means more data and more accurate pricing, which brings more capital partners, and more capital means better terms for the next manufacturer. Over time, that builds a view of risk in independent manufacturing that no bank or fund has.

What we need to build

Agents

Agents that earn a place inside the plant

Finance agents that owners rely on every day. They are how manufacturers join the platform, and how we see each business from the inside.

Data

A live data layer on the messiest businesses in the economy

Legacy ERPs, bank feeds, purchase orders, quotes and machine schedules, unified into one standardized, auditable view that a lender or investor can trust.

Risk

A risk engine that learns from every deal

Price equipment, order books and customer contracts on live operating data, and get smarter with every loan, repayment and default across the network.

Capital

Rails between manufacturers and institutional capital

Match each growth capital need to the right investors, structure and syndicate thousands of small, bespoke deals, and give capital partners live monitoring of every position in their portfolio.
